Happy Friday!! I’m officially back from my vacation in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. I had such a blast in the Caribbean celebrating my cousin’s destination wedding. We stayed at the loveliest resort – Majestic Colonial Resort Punta Cana. The best part of the trip was spending time with the family. I adore my family and since we all live far away it’s really nice to get all the cousins, aunts, uncles, and little ones together.

Sharing one of the looks I wore to dinner while at the resort. I packed a ton of maxi dresses for the trip since it was in the high 80s with 90% humidity! I picked up this dress a few days before I left at J. Crew and it was the best purchase I made! The dress is breezy and perfect for high humidity weather. I paired it with a lightweight cardigan, sandals, and my favorite basket bag for a relaxed evening dinner look.

I will share more looks for my trip next week including what I wore to the pool and beach! I got a ton of message and questions when I posted this photo. I’m working on a post to share all my swimwear finds so stay tuned!

Happy Monday! I can’t believe summer is winding down in just two weeks!! I’m trying to soak up every last minute of it. If you have been following me on Instagram you know by now that I’m in Dominican Republic for my cousin’s wedding. It’s absolutely wonderful being on vacation and having my family here! I definitely packed this dress for DR and it’s been amazing in this heat to wear around the resort. I love the fact that it’s linen and not see-through! I also find the dress super festive and the perfect pool side or vacation dress – also it’s on major sale!!!

Summer Time Ice-Cream

Nothing says summer time like a huge waffle cone of soft serve ice-cream! My darling friend Katie and I went to checkout the newly opened Bmore Licks for some delicious summer treats. I opted for strawberry soft serve with sprinkles! I can’t wait to go back and try all the amazing soft serve flavors – they have over a hundred!!

I’m a also a tad bit obsessed with these sandals beautiful braided sandals I picked up from M. Gemi. They are super comfortable and go with any summer look! I’m excited to pack these for my trip to Dominican Republic. I head out to tomorrow – be sure to follow along on Instagram for all my travel grams!

Happy Tuesday!! I wore this look last week to dinner with my darling friend Katie (see her site here). I finally got a chance to dine at Little Havana in Baltimore. The food was incredible!! The churros were my absolute favorite!! I also adore the pretty colorful walls on the outside, the make for some great #ootd photos!

The Summer IT Bag | Cult Gaia Ark

I’m not one to jump on a seasonal trend and embrace it quickly. My style is very classic and feminine and I like to stick to timeless pieces. However the straw/basket bag trend is one that I am fully committed too and have totally embraced!! It all started with the Cult Gaia Natural Ark bag. I’ve been eyeing this bag for the longest time – there is constantly a wait list!! Randomly I was browsing the site and the bag was in stock in size small and I clicked add to cart and never looked bag.
