A Day In The Lalz is a travel and style blog by me, Lauleh Aslani, with a focus on my passion for fashion, beauty, and travel. I’m the all American girl rocking the latest fashion trends with a modest twist. My style in three words: Classic, Accessorized, and Polished.
Born and raised in Ann Arbor, Michigan, I attended Eastern Michigan University with a major in Sociology and Minor in Chemistry. After graduation I did a bit of traveling to figure out what my next educational step would be. I started this blog in December 2012 when I was living and traveling in Hawaii for a month with my sister. I have a passion for traveling and planning trips and enjoy sharing all the hidden gems I find.
In 2013, I moved to Maryland to begin graduate school at University of Maryland College Park and obtained a Master of Health Administration in 2015. Since then the blog has morphed into a creative outlet where I share my love for fashion, beauty, and passion for travel.
Since launching my blog in 2012, I have had the opportunity to featured on the cover of Baltimore Magazine January 2019 Beauty Issue, highlighted by Haute Hijab as “10 Hijabi Influencers To Look Out For in 2019“, and featured in April and October 2017 print editions of InStyle Magazine.
