Why did you name your blog A Day In The Lalz? My sister is the one that actually picked the name for my blog. It all began when I showed up in Hawaii where she was doing a Emergency Medicine rotation for a month in Oahu. Since I was there for a month she thought it would be a great idea to document my days spent in Hawaii in the form of a blog. To mimic the phrase “A Day In The Life” she came up with A Day In The Lalz – incorporating my nickname!

How do you make money on your site? I make money on my blog by sponsored content and affiliates. I’m lucky to have the opportunity to work with some amazing brands and if I’m ever being paid for a blog post, it will be disclosed within the post that it’s “sponsored” and any gifted items will be marked with ℅. I’m also a part of an affiliate advertising program. This means that if you click and/or make a purchase through certain links on my site, I may make a commission from that click and/or purchase. I’m extremely selective when working with sponsors and I will only feature products and brands that I love. On many occasions I turn down opportunities and money all the time because it’s very important to me to include and only show products and companies that I am truly passionate about and personally use. In no way do I want to mislead my readers to make a purchase if I don’t truly believe in the product or brand. Honesty is the best policy!
