Midsummer Canary

July 21, 2014

Shirt: The Limited (old) | Skirt: Anthropologie | Scarf: Zeena | Bag: Kate Spade (similar) |
Shoes: Banana Republic | Sunnies: Ray-Ban | Necklace: Gift | Bracelet: Ily Couture

I’ve had this skirt from Anthro for about a year. Why haven’t I worn it? I couldn’t find a scarf to go with it! I’ve been searching for months to find the perfect scarf to pull this outfit together. When I received  the beautiful Zeena Palisade Scarf {courtesy of Fan Giveaway Week} I knew instantly this would be the perfect scarf to go with this skirt.
p.s. Big shout out to the Husain family in Chi city for naming this blog post! Love you all!

Just a little red, white, & blue fashion inspiration for you today! I always get super excited for Fourth of July mostly because it is in close proximity to my birthday and I’m a sucker for fireworks. I go all out for the festivities – including fashion wise. I’ve been waiting for an excuse to wear this adorable Corilynn skirt that has been hiding in my closet for almost a year! I absolutely love this skirt! Chevron, polka dots, red, sparkly jewelry, and Ray-Bans are the perfect ingredients for a festive Fourth of July outfit!
How will you be celebrating this weekend?!

Olive Dress

June 27, 2014

Dress: H&M | Cardigan: Zeena | Scarf: Guggenheim Store | Clutch: Steve Madden |
Shoes: Isola via Nordstrom Rack | Watch: Michael Kors | Necklace: Gifted | Ring: BCBG

It’s no secret that green is my favorite color. Therefore when I saw this olive color dress on sale at H&M for only $15 I had to buy it because this dress has endless possibilities! It is beyond comfortable and I’m definitely going to be wearing it throughout the summer. For this look I paired the dress with my all time favorite scarf from the Guggenheim Store I bought during my trip to NYC. This scarf features the work of Jackson Pollock – one of my favorite artists – and well it’s green. This outfit was great for a night out on the town with my friends during Ann Arbor Restaurant Week.
