Back in January, I booked tickets for a weekend trip to Boston with my mama, sister, and little nephew. I have been to Boston several times as we have a ton of family friends living in the area. However the last time I was in Boston was in 2011 when I was still in college. I had such a blast being back in Boston and visiting all my favorite old spots and discovering new places. One of my favorite areas to stay in Boston is Back Bay. The area is walkable and you are close to all the shopping on Newbury and Boylston Street, there are a ton of excellent restaurants in the area, and great sites to explore such as the Boston Public Library, Boston Commons, and the Public Gardens. My family and I had an absolutely amazing stay at The Fairmont Copley Plaza during our weekend trip to Boston. This historic hotel opened in 1912 and is located steps away from Boston Public Library and only a few short blocks from all the amazing shopping on Newbury Street.
As soon as we arrived to the hotel, the friendly bell staff unloaded our luggage and whisked us to concierge to check in. The front hallway known as peacock alley is absolutely breathtaking. I took photos in the hallway every single morning! My little nephew enjoyed sprinting down the hall every single time we were in the lobby. The staff is incredibly friendly and I really appreciated that concierge was able to get us into our room earlier than check in time. Since we took a 6:45am fight, it was such a nice treat to get into our room and get a chance to change before heading out to explore.
We stayed in a deluxe double bed room on the sixth floor. The extra space was exactly what my family and I needed, with a 14 month old! My nephew ran circles and was bouncing around the room. There was more than enough space for us to set up his travel crib, have a play area for him, and settle him into the room.
I was beyond excited to see The Fairmont Copley Plaza provides Le Labo bath amenities! I just discovered the brand last month when I was in NYC and walked by their store in SoHo. I am obsessed with the Rose 31 scent, as it smells like a garden of roses!
Another wonderful amenity while staying at The Fairmont Copley Plaza is the in room Keurig and electric water boiler. I’m a coffee drinker and my mama loves her evening tea, therefore it was a win win for everyone!! The morning cup of coffee was much needed as my nephew loves to wake up at 7:15am on the dot.
The staff at Fairmont Copley Plaza made our trip to Boston such a memorable experience. Traveling with a 14 month old is not the easiest thing however the impeccable service made us feel right at home for the weekend. The entire staff was warm, friendly, inviting, accommodating, and extremely helpful. I can’t even begin to list all the times the staff was incredibly helpful during our trip and accommodated all of our requests.
The hotel is located in one of the best locations in the city close to all the restaurants, shopping, and attractions. I love that everything is walking distance or a short uber ride away. If you are planning a trip to Boston, I highly recommend you check out the Fairmont Copley Square and stay in Back Bay! You will have such a lovely time.
Thank you to the Fairmont for such lovely stay and I can’t wait to be back in Boston, this time in the fall to catch the New England fall foliage!
*Thank you to the Fairmont Copley Plaza for partnering for this post. All opinions are 100% my own.
