Boston has a ton of delicious restaurants and many famous dishes such as New England Clam Chowder, Lobster Rolls, Boston Cream Pie, and Cannoli. Sharing all the food spots I visited during my trip to Boston last weekend!
Lobster Roll | This was a number one priority for me. I absolutely love a good lobster roll. I received a ton of recommendations – Row 34, Saltie Girl, B&G Oysters, and even Faneuil Hall Marketplace. I enjoyed a delicious Lobster Roll from Boston Chowda Co at Faneuil Hall Marketplace. I also wanted to go to Saltie Girl however my nephew had a midday meltdown and we didn’t want to force him through a sit down meal. It’s on the list for the next Boston trip!
Clam Chowder | Another high priority food item. As you may know, traditional clam chowder is made with bacon. Since I don’t eat pork, it was a bit challenging to find a restaurant that offers clam chowder sans bacon. After a few phone calls and google searches I found Il Molo located in North End. Before making a reservation I asked about the clam chowder and the host was kind enough to accommodate the request. He stated if we make reservations in advance he can notify the chef to prepare bacon free clam chowder for us to enjoy.
Cannoli | Mike’s Pastry in North End is a Boston classic. I remember the first time I went was in middle school! It’s basically a landmark for me. I always get the Florentine cannoli – absolutely divine!
Citrus & Salt | I found Citrus & Salt while scrolling through Instagram for restaurants in Back Bay. As soon as I saw the pineapple dole whip dessert, I knew we had to have lunch here. I loved everything about this spot, from the aesthetics to the delicious tapas Mexican food! Be sure to make reservations as they are super busy.
JUGOS | I recently started having green smoothies for breakfast. Therefore I wanted to find a place, close to out hotel in Back Bay, that I could walk to in the morning and grab a smoothie. I was excited to find JUGOS just a few blocks from Fairmont Copley Plaza to grab a delicious fresh smoothie before a day of exploring.
Tatte Bakery and Cafe | A great spot to grab coffee and pastry in the morning. I ordered their seasonal latter that had cardamom in it – it was delicious!! Also the Strawberry Vanilla Cloud pastry is heavenly, my nephew stole half of it from me!
