There has been a lot of buzz about the The Ordinary skincare products. I finally added the Buffet serum to my skincare routine and today I’m sharing my review!
The Ordinary is an affordable skincare line offering a range of products that are free of parabens, sulphates, mineral oil, methylchloroisothiazolinone, methylisothiazolinone, animal oils, benzalkonium chloride, coal tar dyes, formaldehyde, mercury, oxybenzone. As a side note my skin is normal/combination with the occasional breakouts. The Ordinary offers a range of products and since I didn’t have a specific issue I wanted to focus on. I chose to add the Buffet serum to my nightly skincare routine. The Buffet focuses on signs of aging and I was interested in adding it to my skincare routine as a preventative measure. I don’t have many wrinkles (yet!) however I noticed after a month of using the product that my skin was hydrated and glowing after about a week of using it. Recently my skin had been dull with all the stress from work and lack of sleep but since adding the Buffet serum to my routine I noticed my skin became radiant and the texture improved. Some of the reviews I read said that the serum has a faint smell to it but honestly I couldn’t tell.
I apply the serum at night after washing my face and applying my toner. I let the serum soak into my skin and then I layer on my nightly moisturizer. Read more about my nightly skincare routine here.
