I love scarves – as hijabs and as an accessory. I am excited to share and style the new Birdsong Scarf by Sarah Flint.
Designed in collaboration with U.K. based artist Diane Hill, the Sarah Flint Birdsong scarf is crafted in Lake Como, Italy in 100% teal silk. The hand-painted print is inspired by 18th-century wallpapers and features finely detailed botanicals including lush peonies and eucalyptus, as well as lovely songbirds. 20% of the net proceeds of the Birdsong scarf will go to Blueprint for All in the U.K., which work to create a fairer, more inclusive society in which everyone, regardless of their race, ethnicity, or background can thrive.
When the Sarah Flint team reached out to style the new Birdsong scarf I was excited to style two different looks accessorizing the Birdsong scarf. I instantly think of Parisian style when accessorizing a scarf. The first outfit is a classic black and white Parisian look – beret et al – and styling the scarf as a neck tie to show off the beautiful print. The second look is a classic jeans and buttoned shirt and styling the scarf as a bow that I learned from this video on TikTok.
