I have a ton of hijabs and in order to keep track of them I have to be organized. Since I live in an apartment and I have limited closet space, I’ve had to get creative in organizing all my scarves!
Majority of my scarves are square chiffon scarves and I have a few jersey, georgette, and viscose shawls. I purchase 95% of my scarves from Haute Hijab and their quality is absolutely amazing! I love chiffon scarves because they are lightweight, work year round, and don’t require ironing! In the morning I have zero time to iron my scarves therefore I like to grab and go and thankfully chiffon material doesn’t wrinkle easily and is super low maintenance.
I store my hijabs in my drawer chest organized in storage boxes. I purchased these boxes from Ikea. You can find these organizers pretty much anywhere from the Container Store, Amazon, and Target. My method of organizing my scarves are by solids, prints, and color family. I roll my hijabs and stack them facing up into the organizers, this way I can see the pattern and colors in the hijab when I pull our my drawer. Additionally I keep my rectangular scarves (jersey, georgette, and viscose) in a separate organizer box for easy access.
This method is great for someone who has limited space and allows everything to be visible and organized.
Thanks for stopping by!
