Unboxing my July Birchbox on the blog today!
The theme of this month’s box is sweet summertime. All the products in this month’s box revolve around the theme of making summer life a little easier and beat the heat beauty tricks.
The first product I was excited to try is the Arrow under-eye brightening serum. As soon as my birchbox arrived I dabbed on a bit of the product under my eye and instantly saw a brightness to it. It is a lightweight formula and thankfully my sensitive skin did well with it. I’m eager to try it out on a hot humid summer day to see how it holds up. The next item I attempted to try was the Makeup Drop Original silicone applicator. This product is all the rage now apparently, it’s similar to a beauty blender. However honestly it wasn’t my favorite and I prefer the beauty blender. I felt that it did not really blend my foundation and there were patches and streaks left behind. I’m excited to try the Vasanti Makeup Magnet Wipes, the small pack is great for travel and on the go. I was intrugued to try out the Eyeko Brow Liner as I’ve always used brow pencil. The pointed tip is very precise and allows you to fill in as little or as much as you want of your brows.
