Paris in the spring is an enchanting experience, and as a fashion photographer, it becomes an endless source of inspiration. Over the years, I have discovered some favorite spots that I consistently return to, each offering unique backdrops for capturing fashion looks and OOTDs (Outfit of the Day). Here’s a glimpse into my recent trip to Paris and the iconic locations that never fail to deliver stunning photos.
Rue de l’Université – The Iconic Eiffel Tower Shot
No trip to Paris is complete without capturing the majesty of the Eiffel Tower. Rue de l’Université offers one of the best views. This quaint street frames the tower perfectly, creating a picturesque and classic Parisian backdrop. The cobblestone streets and charming Parisian architecture make it a must-visit spot for any fashion shoot. I love to match my outfits to the iconic scenery, often opting for chic, timeless pieces that complement the elegance of the Eiffel Tower.
Pro Tip – go just before sunrise to get a spot and beat all the other professional photographers and couples taking photos.

Palais-Royal – A Black and White Dream
The Palais-Royal is a monochromatic marvel with its striking black and white columns. This location is a favorite for its architectural beauty and symmetry, providing a sophisticated and modern contrast to any outfit. The serene gardens and stately arcades offer multiple spots to experiment with angles and compositions. It’s the perfect place to showcase bold fashion statements or minimalist looks, making every shot a piece of art.
Pro Tip- the Palais-Royal is just steps from the Louvre, highlight recommend going to The Louvre at sunrise and then going over to Palais-Royal, the gates usually open around 8am depending on the season.

Louvre Museum – Sunrise Serenity
The Louvre Museum is a classic choice for fashion photography. The key to getting the best photos here is to beat the crowds by arriving at sunrise. The soft morning light bathes the iconic glass pyramid and historic buildings in a golden glow, creating an ethereal atmosphere. The juxtaposition of contemporary and classical elements makes it an ideal setting for versatile fashion styles. Whether it’s an avant-garde ensemble or a romantic, vintage look, the Louvre provides a breathtaking backdrop.

Jardin des Tuileries – A Timeless Beauty
Jardin des Tuileries is perfect in any season, but spring brings out its vibrant colors and lush greenery. This expansive garden offers numerous spots for capturing beautiful photos, from its meticulously manicured lawns to its elegant statues and fountains. The natural light filtering through the trees adds a magical touch to every shot. I always find myself matching my outfits to the seasonal hues, creating harmonious and visually appealing compositions.

Photographing in Paris is a delightful experience, but a few tips can enhance your results:
- Golden Hours: Early mornings and late afternoons provide the best lighting for soft, flattering photos.
- Weather: Be prepared for unpredictable spring weather. Bring versatile outfits and accessories to adapt to changing conditions.
- Outfit Coordination: Plan your outfits to complement the location’s color palette and ambiance.
Paris is a city that inspires creativity and elegance. Every visit renews my love for its beauty and charm, and I can’t wait to return and discover more breathtaking spots.
