In DC after cherry blossom season comes wisteria hysteria! The prettiest wisteria can be found at Dumbarton Oaks however it is currently closed. Thankfully Georgetown is filled with lots of pretty Wisteria to enjoy on my morning sanity strolls.
I love a good midi dress with sleeves. As soon as I saw this pretty floral shirtdress at J. Crew I immediately ordered it knowing it would be perfect for spring. The dress arrived just when the pandemic was spreading and everything began to shutdown. I had nowhere to wear my pretty dress except to work from home, grocery runs, and afternoon walks. I find it absolutely necessary to get dressed for the day in order to have a productive day. I just can’t spend the day in sweats and PJs. I have been reaching for this comfortable shirtdress a lot because it lifts my spirits and it is functional. I normally pair the dress with my favorite white sneakers for a more casual relaxed look. For a more dressed up look I pair the dress with my absolute favorite wedges.

This pretty Wisteria can be found on 35th St NW & Prospect St NW in Georgetown.
I so wish I could transport myself here and shoot some photos! So gorgeous!
Hopefully next spring! You need to come down one day and we can have a DC spring day!
Do you think the wisteria will be finished in the Georgetown locations you listed? It’s now may 10, 2020
Hey Nancy! The wisteria are pretty much gone now since there were a few thunderstorms last week. Brookside Garden has some Wisteria that was in bloom when I was there on Tuesday, but I think those are gone too due to the wind over the weekend. Wisteria season is usually mid-April – beginning of May!
