Fall is just around the corner and I am looking forward to all the fun fall activities in the DC area. Today I’m sharing all the events and activities on my list for this fall season!
Apple Picking | I always kick off the fall season with a trip to the Apple Orchard. I have been going to Baugher’s Orchards and Farms since moving to Maryland. Baugher’s has a great selection of apples and I love that you can pick your apples yourself! Be sure to check the website to get the latest harvest update.
Pumpkin Patch | I have been going to a pumpkin patch every year for as long as I can remember. I am looking forward to taking my nephew this year since he’s old enough to understand and experience it. A few of my favorite places to go are Nalls Produce, Whitehall Farms, and Summers Farm. I personally love Summers Farm and highly recommend it for families, there are so many fun activities and games for the kids!
Mount Vernon Fall Harvest Family Days | During my first fall season in Maryland my sister and I went to George Washington’s Mount Vernon for Fall Harvest Family Days for a full day of fall activities. I highly recommend planning a trip, especially with kids. There are so many fun activities and things to do!

The Emporiyum | I am beyond excited for The Emporiyum at Union Market in Washington D.C. Nov 8-10. This event is a weekend long amazing food marketplace. The Emporiyum is a unique food marketplace that brings together chefs and vendors along with the best national artisans and producers from all over the country. Tickets can be purchased here and the admission tickets gets you entrance into the marketplace, with access to various samples, foods and beverages, plus you will be able to purchase products from our vendors. I have a special discount count for tickets at the end of the blog post! Be sure to get your tickets early before they sell out.
