Sharing my review of our stay at Finest Playa Mujeres Resort in Cancun, Mexico for my birthday trip!
For my 30th birthday my family and I traveled to Cancun, Mexico to relax and have some fun in the sun at Finest Playa Mujeres. We stayed at the resort for 3 nights, and honestly I wish our stay was longer!
We stay at the Finest Playa Mujeres which is the family friendly resort. If you are interested in the adult only, I suggest looking into Excellence Playa Mujeres. My family and I booked a Junior Suite with Private Pool for 3 adults and 1 infant. The room was extremely spacious and the private pool is the best part. The resort has amazing pools and lazy rivers for swimming, however having our own pool with a little one is super convenient. For example, when my nephew was napping we were able to put him in the room and enjoy our time outdoors while keeping an eye on him.
The food at Finest is incredible! There are 12 restaurants, 16 bars, 24 hour room service, and a sweet corner that services up coffee, milkshakes, and delicious ice-cream. All of the restaurants are first come first serve. The only restaurant that requires reservations is Shoji, the hibachi restaurant, reservations are made same day starting at 4:30pm.
The Market Kitchen is the main dining area which has a ton of food options. My favorite thing to get in the morning at Market Kitchen is the freshly made juices! Another favorite spot of mine is the Tropical Juice Bar, they have delicious freshly made smoothies and green juices. Additionally everyday from noon to 5pm they have fresh coconuts!
The 24 hour room services is definitely extremely convenient, especially when traveling with a little one.
I am counting down to my next trip back to Finest Playa Mujeres.
This ice cream looks AMAZING. I’m looking forward to a vacation so badly, only going to the beach for a weekend but still counting down the day!
