Kimono Sleeve Dress

Escaping the cold and sharing my outfits from my recent trip to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico this week on the blog!

I ordered this dress from SHEIN before my trip to Mexico. I really wanted to pack a bunch of easy to wear midi and maxi dresses for my trip since the weather was in the 70-80s. Dresses are easy and comfortable! This dress is probably a midi dress however since I’m short – 5′ 3″ – it ends up being a maxi dress and down to my ankles. For sizing reference I am wearing a size small.

The dress is very comfortable and forgiving. The sleeves are a very wide and definitely a true kimono style. The dress has a full skirt and does have a lot of fabric to it. I personally didn’t like the tassels on the neckline therefore I cut them off. The dress has a deep V neckline therefore I wore a nude tank underneath for coverage and tucked my scarf in for added coverage. I paired the dress with a neutral scarf, bag, and heels to really keep the attention on the dress.
