This past weekend I was in Toronto for my cousin’s wedding. The wedding was absolutely beauitful!! I was blown away by the venue, Fairmont Royal York, and every stunning detail of the wedding. Sharing my look as a bridesmaid for the wedding today on the blog!
I received a ton of messages about the blush jumpsuit I wore to the wedding. My cousin asked me to be a bridesmaid and the only request she had for the bridesmaids was to wear blush. I had this beautiful blush jumpsuit in my closet since March and I ran it by the bride and she totally approved me wearing it on her wedding day! Favorite. Cousin. Ever.
Truth be told I had the jumpsuit custom made in Tehran by a talented tailor, you can find her on Instagram here. The jumpsuit is by far one of my favorite pieces of clothing I own. The beaded lace pink fabric is the fabric my sister’s mother-in-law gifted me before my sister’s wedding as it is customary in Persian culture. I always had a vision of having the fabric used for a jumpsuit but I couldn’t find a tailor to do it for me here. Therefore when a friend of mine referred her tailor I had my sister take the fabric and my measurements to the tailor in Tehran and had her make it for me. Believe it or not she had this made without ever seeing me or having a single fitting for it!! She is insanely talented!! I paired the jumpsuit with a soft pink and purple floral Haute Hijab scarf and my all time super comfortable pink heels from Banana Republic, and lastly accessorized with blush Ted Baker clutch. As for my makeup, I did it myself because I don’t trust anyone, and went with a purple smoky eye paired with the MAC Retro Matte Metallic Lipstick in Softly Rockin.
I’ve linked a few similar jumpsuits below to shop!
