Lipstick is the last thing I put on to finish my look! I never leave the house without applying lipstick – I keep extra ones on hand at all times. I’ve been using Stila All Day Liquid Lipstick for a few years now and it’s been my secret beauty product. I love this product because it actually does stay on ALL DAY! I was at a dinner party over the summer and my mom’s friend came up to me at the end of the night asking how is it possible that my red lipstick hasn’t moved an inch – believe me it stays put!
There are a few tricks to getting the look to last thought – 1) prep your lips with Vaseline, 2) take time to apply the lipstick on with the applicator, a little product goes a long way, 3) do a midday touch up by applying Rosebud Salve in a Tube and rubbing your lips together to spread the color.
My favorite neutral color to wear to work is Patina – it’s almost always sold out because it’s so popular! A great fall color is Aria – a darker shade. Fiore is a great hot pink shade that definitely pops (see the color here). Fiery and Beso are amazing shades of red (see the color here). I’ve also tried the shade Venezia – a bright coral – as a birhcbox sample and loved it! It’s definitely going to be the next shade I purchase.
