December Weekend in NYC
This past weekend my family and I took a weekend trip to NYC to visit my brother. As a frequent NYC weekend traveler you would think I would have seen it all – but no! There is always something new on my list to tackle in NYC. I really enjoy New York City during the holidays. There is nothing like it! The crowds are crazy, there are holiday decorations everywhere, and it is freezing cold! I wouldn’t miss it for the world. If you are headed to NYC for Christmas or New Year’s check out my guide from last year on all the fun festive things to do here.
A Summer Weekend in NYC
Last weekend I took a trip to NYC to visit my brother. Last time I was there was in June and I was sure he missed me dearly therefore I decided to pay him a little visit 🙂
Saturday we started our day with a family lunch at North River Lobster Company at Pier 81. The New England classic lobster roll is absolutely delicious!
Foodie Spots | NYC
NYC has a TON of places to eat – which can make it hard to settle on just one place! Therefore I constantly keep a running list of foodie spots I read about, hear from friends, or see on Instagram. Therefore every time I head out to NYC I pick a few spots to try out. Today I’m sharing all the yummy foodie spots I hit up while I was in NYC over the holidays. First off is Baita, a pop-up restaurant on the 14th floor of Eataly serving delicious Italian food with the ambiance of being at a ski lodge in the Italian Alps. Molto Delizioso!
NYC Holiday Guide
Hello 2016! I hope every one’s New Year is off to a great start. This past Christmas I finally was able to cross off one more thing off my travel bucket list – Christmas in NYC! I have been dreaming of spending the holiday times in New York City for the longest time and this year it happened. Thanks to my awesome brother for being a trooper and following me on all my adventures. Although it wasn’t a white Christmas I still had a blast.
Today I’m sharing highlights of all things holiday related I did while in NYC over the Christmas Holidays. First stop was snapping a photo at the New York Palace Hotel Christmas Tree at 455 Madison Ave.
NYC Street Art
Avocado by Hanksy [Northeast corner of Kenmare and Mulberry St]
For the longest time I’ve been wanting to do a tour of street art in NYC! I keep a list of all the street art I see on Instagram and read/hear about. However it never seemed to happen because I always plan fifty other things to do in the 36 hours I’m in NYC. This past weekend my street art dreams came true! My bro and awesome friend Zhila accompanied me on my adventure – Zhila basically was our tour guide and an awesome one at it! We wandered the concrete jungle for street art and had a blast snapping the perfect insta photos! I’m sharing snaps and addresses of all the street art I was able to capture – hope it’s helpful for all my street art enthusiasts!
