Who Takes Your Blog Photos?

I constantly get asked, “Who takes your blog photos?”

Today I’m sharing all the talented photographers behind the lens who make me look good!

Baltimore

When I live in Baltimore I had the opportunity to work with many talented photographers. Baltimore was when I got serious about incorporating fashion into my blog and moved from the tripod camera days to working with professional photographers. Charm City has an incredible community of creatives. I met so many incredible people from fellow bloggers, photographers, creative directors and so on. I have worked with several photographers and my top 3 leading ladies are Katie of Katie Vee Photography, Christina of Vasiliki Photography, and Lindsay of L.A. Birdie Photography. These ladies are insanely talented! Katie actually photographed my sister’s wedding in 2017. I have developed an incredible friendship with these talented women and truly adore each and everyone of them!

D.C.

Since moving to the D.C. area I was excited to work with new photographers. I have met some insanely talented photographers: Rawan Elbaba, Amir, and Lulu of Lulu AlKulaib Photography. DC also has a ton of talented photographers! I also have been able to connect with local DC bloggers and we go out and explore the city together. I was so excited when Ashley of History in High Heels moved to DC over the summer – she brought a splash of color and high dose of fashion to the district!

NYC

My younger brother lives in NYC therefore I am fortunate to take the train up to NYC and spend a weekend there. I love going to NYC an exploring museum, stuffing my face with food, and meeting up with friends. I always try to squeeze a photoshoot here and there to capture some looks while I am in NYC. I have personally worked with 2 photographers in NYC and they are both absolutely lovely – Lauren of Laurel Creative and Chantel Erin. I have also heard wonderful things about Allie Provost and Carter Fish.

LA

I’ve been to Los Angeles a bunch of times however my first solo trip was last August. I’ve been following Tyler of Tyler Chase Photography on Instagram for a while and knew that if I ever made it out to LA, I had to do a photoshoot with her. She is such a sweetheart!! I recently had the chance to work with her over Christmas when she was in Georgetown. I absolutely love her photography style and she is a genuinely kind person!

Travel

Generally when I am traveling with my family, I subject them into taking my photos – thanks mom! When I am traveling solo I reach out to local photographers prior to my trip to set up 1-2 photoshoots. I usually do this on the first or second day I arrive on a trip. It allows me to meet new people, explore the city, and get the photos over with and enjoy my trip. I met Celeste of Eiza Photography in Michigan, she is currently based out Portland, Oregon – she is such a sweetheart and I am waiting to make it out to Oregon to work with her again. Additionally I keep a list of photographers I would like to work with saved on Instagram. This allows me to reference back to my list when I’m traveling to a new city. I have been itching to plan a trip to Pairs and work with Max, his photos are so dreamy!
