Hot Pink Blazer and Jeans

Styling my favorite pink work blazer in a more casual way.

Most people are tidying up and have jumped on the Marie Kondo tidying up bandwagon. Sadly I can’t relate because I’m a type A person who is highly organized! As a habit I purge my closet every season and keep a running list of things I need/want and wish list items I’m saving up for. I prefer to have fewer pieces however higher-quality investment pieces. After watching all the episodes of Tidying Up on Netflix I did learn a few things from Marie’s method. My biggest takeaway from the show is to wear the pieces in my closet that bring me joy. This hot pink blazer brings me a lot of joy!

I normally wear this blazer to work, last styled here on the blog, and always receive a ton of compliments on it. Since I’m taking a break from shopping and have started re-shopping and re-styling pieces in my closet, starting with this blazer. To dress down this office blazer I paired it with my favorite pair of boyfriend jeans and layered a matching lightweight sweater. I also added a fun circle bag with gold accents that perfectly matches the gold buttons on the blazer.
