Home Sweet Home! Ann Arbor is home for me. I was born and raised in this beautiful city and love everything about it. Thankfully from Baltimore it is a quick flight over to the mitten and I can make a weekend trip to visit my favorite city. Today I’m sharing a few of my favorite spots in Ann Arbor!
Sightseeing
Downtown Ann Arbor is extremely walkable. I usually make my way downtown, park my car, and walk to all my favorite sights. I recently found the Welcome to Ann Arbor mural on Ashley St off Main St. My all time favorite spot is the visiting the Law School at University of Michigan. The Law Quad is a beautiful spot to walk through and take pictures. My absolute favorite season to visit is fall when all the leaves change. Another one of my favorite outdoors spots is the Matthew Botanical Garden. When I was in town all the summer florals were in bloom and the garden was filled with colorful flowers.
Food
Ann Arbor has a ton of great restaurants and delicious food spots. The classics are Zingerman’s Deli, Sava’s, Frita Batidos, Angelo’s, Cafe Zola, and Mani Osteria & Bar. There were two spots I recently went to and fell in love with!! Fred’s is a cute spot in downtown Ann Arbor that offers delicious acai bowls, avocado toast, smoothies, and healthy bites. The aesthetics of this place is adorable and I basically want to move in! Another new discovery is Teaspressa in downtown Ann Arbor. This adorable cafe is originally based in Arizona and have the most delicious coffee inspired tea drinks! Be sure to ask for the secret menu and order the Leya drink!
