Happy Friday! Hope everyone had a lovely Fourth of July and enjoyed the festivities. Sharing my five Friday loves for the week!
Summer Lotion
My skin is rather oily in the summer months therefore I swapped my hydrating First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream daily moisturizer to Fresh Umbrian Clay Oil-Free Lotion. I’ve been using the lotion for about a month now and love how lightweight and balancing it is. My skin is hydrated throughout the day but not super oily and I’ve noticed improvement in my complexion.
Apple Watch Band
My sweet family gifted me an Apple Watch for my birthday and I’m totally obsessed with it! I recently ordered this stainless steel band for the watch and love it! I’ve gotten so many compliments on the band. It’s super chic and easy to resize at home, also it’s less than $20!
Roll Ice Cream & Coffee Baltimore
I finally made it to Roll Ice Cream & Coffee in Baltimore near Patterson Park. I’m an ice-cream lover and Thai rolled ice-cream is on the top of my list. I enjoyed the delicious VIVE LA BLUEBERRIES! and WHO YOU CALLIN’ SHORTY? flavors. They were both absolutely delicious! I plan on going back a few times this summer in order to work my way through the menu!
Fun House
Every summer the National Building Museum in DC hosts a fun pop-up exhibit during the summer opening on Fourth of July until Labor Day. Last year it as The Hive (see blog post here) and in 2015 my all time favorite, The Beach. This year is the Fun House installation by Snarkitecture. I can’t wait to go down to DC and visit the Fun House exhibit this summer. I will definitely be taking my nephew as the exhibit is totally kid friendly! The exhibit does require tickets that can be purchased online or at the museum.
Watermelon Feta Salad
I’ve been on a watermelon kick this week. I found a super easy and delicious Watermelon Feta Salad with Mint recipe. I made the salad for lunch for Fourth of July and my family loved it! It’s the perfect salad on a hot summer day and makes for a great potluck dish.
Have a lovely weekend!
