Sharing all my London adventures on the blog this week!
Last week I spend 5 days in London with my family. Although the weather was a bit cold, we had an absolutely wonderful time! My mama, sister, and baby nephew were all along for the ride. It was the first trip with my nephew (he is 2 months old) therefore everything we did was baby friendly. My family trusted me to plan the entire trip therefore I put together our itinerary for exploring all of London in the 5 days we were there. Our itinerary was amended a few times due to weather and baby, but all in all we were able to see a lot of London during our stay!
For our lodging we booked an Airbnb in the Chelsea/South Kensington area. It was a great location however due to the hot water and heat not working we had to check in to a hotel after day 2. It all worked out perfectly because I found a spectacular hotel, My Chelsea, which was just around the corner from the Airbnb. We booked a Studio Suite and they were kind enough to let us check in early in the morning since we had a baby and needed to shower him. We honestly should have stayed at My Chelsea from the beginning! The hotel is absolutely wonderful and the staff is extremely hospitable. I chose the Chelsea area to stay in because it’s a bit quieter and less of a touristy area. It’s super close to all the bus stops and the South Kensington Tube stop. In addition My Chelsea is only a 10 minute walk to the Victoria & Albert Museum and from there another 10 minute walk to Harrods.
I will be sharing my 5 day detail itinerary, all the delicious food we ate on the trip, my packing guide, tips for traveling with a baby in London, and best photo-op locations in London on the blog this week! Be sure to check back regularly for all things London on the blog this week.
