Happy March!! Since spring is just around the corner I’m talking about my favorite accessories on the blog today – Sunglasses! You will never find me without a pair of sunnies in my purse! Today I’m sharing my top 5 favorite sunglasses styles that every gal needs in their accessory closet.
Aviators: This style is classic! It can be worn year round with casual or dressy looks. I personally love Ray-Ban aviators. These sunnies come in a variety of lens colors from metallic, black, green, pink etc. Almost every member of my family has these sunnies! The best part is that they are unisex! On many occasions I forget my sunnies and steal my brother’s pair.
Cat Eye: Another classic pair is a black cat eye sunglasses. I picked up this super cheap pair from Nordstrom a few years ago to test out the cat eye look. I wanted to invest in a pair of Karen Walker sunnies but honestly this $12 pair does the trick and doesn’t break the bank! Nordstrom has an amazing collection of sunglasses ranging $12-$36. I always pick up a few pairs at the beginning of the new season since it’s so inexpensive!
Round: This style is very Jackie-O. I’ve always wanted a pair of round tortoise frame sunnies and this pair only cost $14 from Nordstrom! I didn’t want to buy a designer pair because I was not sure if the style would look great on me or not. I ended up loving this round pair and just stuck with it! ASOS and Nordstrom are my go to places for sunglasses styles that I want to try out and offer some great inexpensive options.
Colored: Last summer I started getting into colored sunglasses! I picked up a pair of yellow and pink sunnies from my local Anthropologie. They are such a fun addition to my closet and add a nice pop of color to any spring or summer look! I treat my pink sunglasses as a neutral and wear them with pretty much everything! This season I’m looking to purchase this pair of green sunnies.
White: Last spring I was determined to find a pair of white sunglasses. I really wanted this pair of Celine sunnies but it was completely out of my price range. Instead I found this pair of white cat eye sunnies at Talbots and instantly ordered it. It was my go to sunnies all summer long!
