Spring time is all about exploring the outdoors. As my sister says, since I’m truly a burbs girl at heart, when I see nature I lose my mind to the point of frolicking around. Don’t get me wrong, I love living in the city, but there is just something very fun of exploring the great outdoors.
This past weekend was the last of Persian New Year celebrations. On the 13th day of the New Year also known as “Sizdeh Bedar” it is tradition for families to go picnicking. Even though the weather dropped in temperature (40s) that didn’t stop me from enjoying the outdoors.
I opted to go with my trusty Hunter Boots to keep me warm and be practical for running into the woods. I really love using the shearling insoles with the boots in order to skip the boot socks. I also went with a light spring jacket and lots of layers to stay warm. I purchased this jacket two summers ago for my trip to Ireland. I constantly reach into my closet for it in the spring since its warm and waterproof! In my opinion a great pair of hunter boots and spring jacket are spring wardrobe staples. They are a bit of an investment but are totally worth it.
