Iran | Kashan – Part 2
Our second day in Kashan began super early since Kashan was (and is) super hot in the summer we started the day off at 7am in order to beat the heat. I definitely recommend an early start to the day.

Iran | Kashan – Part 1
While in Iran my mom, sister, and I took the time to travel to Kashan. It was out first time traveling to Kashan and it was lovely! The entire city almost always smelled like rose water. Kashan is known for it’s Festival of Rose and Rose Water – unfortunately it was over by the time we got there. Nonetheless the city was a beautiful sight to take in.
My sister put in all the effort to plan our trip to Kashan and organize everything – mad props to her. We did not go with a tour because I fundamentally dislike tours and feel they are limiting.

Iran | Tehran – Part 4
On the last day in Tehran we shopped till we dropped!
I have a few favorite stores that I always go to when I’m in town to stalk up on souvenirs and goodies. I always visit Tavazo to buy edible goodies for myself and souvenirs. My favorite is the dried fruit, lavoshak (fruit roll-up), and pashmaak (cotton candy). In addition to the food items bought I bought few scarves, a ring, and my sister bought a Kamancheh which is an Iranian musical instrument.
