Reviewing my monthly Rent The Runway Unlimited orders for the month of August!
RED Valentino Blue Ruffle Printed Dress [Retail $1050] Size 2
I truly love this dress. I wore it to 3 events and received so many compliments on the dress. I had to be a little creative with the styling since the dress is short sleeve. I chose to layer a crisp white button down with the dress instead of a blazer. I thought a blazer would take away from the beauty of the dress. See the full blog post featuring the look here.
Kate Spade Suzy Scallop Small Bucket Bag [Retail $328]
I rented this bag for my trip to LA. I was surprised as to how much stuff I was able to fit into it! It’s a very roomy bag and I love that it can be worn as a top handle and cross body.
STINE GOYA Striped Liberty Dress [Retail $350] Size XS
Even though I ordered a XS, the dress ran big. I had to belt the dress because it was a bit loose in the waist. See the full blog post featuring the look here.
Cinq à Sept Carmelina Pants [Retail $295] Size 0
I am obsessed with these pants! I really debated purchasing them but the price wasn’t right. They are super comfortable and perfect for transitioning to fall.
Tanya Taylor Marcela Dress [Retail $545] Size 0
I love a good long sleeved midi dress. The color and subtle pattern on this dress is amazing. The only issue I had with it was that the skirt portion of the dress is wrap-around therefore it occasionally would fly open when walking. I had to pin it with a small safety pin since it was a bit windy the day I wore it. Otherwise I loved the print, fit, and color.
Items that did not work out:
- Trina Turk Jarreau Pants (Size 0) – The pants did not fit well and ran big.
