Summer is winding down! I’m enjoying the last few weeks of summer weather and getting all the mileage out of maxi dresses while I can.

With summer coming to end it’s time to transition my closet to fall. Although the weather in DC doesn’t get cold just yet, I try to transition my summer pieces to fall and get as much as wear as I possibly can out of them. This black and white stripe maxi dress is a great transitional piece for fall. For a summer look I styled it with a cardigan and espadrilles. For fall I would pair it with booties, similar to these, a leather jacket, and a neutral scarf.
