Nail Polish // OPI | Julep | CND Vinylux
Let’s talk nails! I love getting a mani/pedi just as much as the next girl. Since I started grad school and was living on a budget I had to cut out unnecessary costs. One of those costs was getting my nails done every week. When I was working it wasn’t a big deal but as a student it adds up. Therefore I learned and eventually became a pro at doing my own manicures at home. Now it’s become a part of my weekly routine to do my own nails every Thursday night. Today I’m sharing a few of my favorite products that help me achieve a salon manicure at home!

1. Prep Nails – this is best to do after you come out of the shower.
2. Base coat is a must! Let dry for about a minute before applying polish.
3. Paint on two coats of polish.
4. Apply one coat of top coat.
5. Let nails dry completely for 15 minutes! Spray with enamel dryer spray twice.

I stick to a few brands of nail polish – OPIJulep, and CND Vinylux. The CND Vinylux is a newly developed obsession I have because the polish doesn’t require a base coat and lasts about 10 days. With CND you only have to put on two coats of polish and top it off with the CND Vinylux Weekly Top Coat.
A few of my favorite colors are listed below;
OPI – Sparrow Me The Drama | Kiss Me On My Tulips | Ate Berries In The Canaries | Grand Canyon  Sunset | My Boyfriend Scales Walls | French Quarters For Your Thoughts | Planks A Lot | Jade Is The New Black | Mermaid’s Tears | Unfor-Greta-Bly Blue

Julep – Molly | Beverly | Brielle | Bess | Angelina | Cher

CND Vinylux – Sugared Spice | Svelte Suede | Tinted Love | Cream Puff | Top Coat | Romantique | Cityscape

Happy Tuesday!
