I was tasked with managing the dessert table for the cowboy baby shower.
Two of the desserts I made were the S’more pops and Gourmet Popcorn. They are super easy to make and always a party favorite. Check out the recipes below.
S’more Pops Ingredients
- Marshmallows
- Lollipop Sticks
- Wilton Dark Candy Cocoa Melts
- Graham Cracker Crumbs
- Foam block
S’more Pops Directions
- Place the candy melts in a bowl and place in the microwave for 30second intervals until it melts.
- Place a marshmallow on a lollipop stick.
- Dip the marshmallow into the melted chocolate half way.
- Gently dip the chocolate covered marshmallow into a plate of graham cracker crumbs.
- Place the stick on a foam block and allow it to set for about 10 minutes.
Gourmet Popcorn Ingredients
- Orville Popcorn
- Wilton Dark Candy Cocoa Melts or White Chocolate Melts
- M&Ms or Butter Toffee Peanuts
Gourmet Popcorn Directions
- Prepare popcorn per directions and lay out on a cookie sheet.
- Crush M&Ms or Butter Toffee Peanuts.
- Place the candy melts in a bowl and place in the microwave for 30second intervals until it melts.
- Place melted chocolate in a plastic bag and cut a small triangle. The white chocolate pairs well with the M&Ms and the dark chocolate with butter toffee peanuts.
- Drizzle chocolate on popcorn.
- Sprinkle crushed candy or peanuts.
- Allow chocolate to harden and enjoy.
